This coastal town usually experiences rather pleasant weather all year round, with the occasional light rain here and there. On rare occasions, a strong storm will sweep in off the ocean. It is best known for it's "Seasons Festivals" when people flock to the small town to celebrate the arrival of each new season.

Klima is a small town surrounded by forests, and is a major research center for woodland Pokemon. It has very similar weather to Eason, though due to the it’s inland location, it is well-guarded from strong storms. Klima is the location of the first Gym in Hawthorn.

A thick lush forest just northeast of Klima Town that hosts a large variety of plant and bug-based Pokemon. During fall and winter months, the bug Pokemon go into hibernation, and many unique Pokemon who have spent their times in the mountains to the north come down into the forest to forage.

The largest city in Hawthorn, based on population, Moncao City is the central hub of the region, with large markets, many shops, and corporate offices of WestCorp, the largest manufacturer of Pokemon products in the region. During the Spring and Summer months, the city is regularly hit by strong storms coming in from the seas. Moncao City is also where the second Gym Leader resides.

Virga City has gained the nickname of “The City of Rain” by the people of Hawthorn due to the year-round precipitation that rolls in from the mountains to the north. Due to the ever-constant threat of wet weather, the people of the city has built Casinos, Contest Halls, and a very nice series of covered walkways to keep it’s citizens dry and happy. Another enjoyed pastime for people is to watch the city Gym Leader battle.

A network of dangerous, semi-frozen underground tunnels full of Ice-type Pokemon (and during the winter months Pokemon trying to find a places to hibernate as well) that is the only path to get to and from Newruz City whenever the lift up Mt. Nimbus is down for the summer.

Newruz City was built upon the sloping foothills of a mountain, and is known throughout the world of being a breath-taking city that is famous for it’s Blossom Festival and the many weddings that occur and the massive amounts of Honeymooners that flock to the city during the Festival. During the fall and winter, the city is virtually dead due to Icecliff . The city is home to the fourth gym in Hawthorn.

A ski resort town built near the summit of Mt. Nimbus that is popular with the people of Hawthorn during the fall, winter, and early spring because of it’s high elevation and long periods of snowfall. It is somewhat prone to powerful blizzards, but people still flock there to enjoy a little rest and relaxation in the snow. Icecliff is host to the 3-day Holiday Festival, where WestCorp regularly gives out free rare items to trainers who attend. During the summer months, the lifts to the town are shut down, and the only way to reach it is by using a powerful Pokemon who can climb the steep ledges of Mt. Nimbus.

Known throughout all of Hawthorn for it’s somewhat abnormally warm weather, Estas City is city full of hot days at the beach, and even hotter nights at the night clubs. Estas has an extended summer time, and winter months are almost non-existent, so many people visit to catch a few rays. During the summer, the city can see some extremely strong and dangerous storms roll in off the sea. Estas is home to the fifth Gym in Hawthorn.

The Eastern-most city in all of the region, Automne has served as the gateway between Hawthorn and the other surrounding regions due to it’s rather stable weather, unlike the more volatile weather-prone port cities in the south part of the region. During the fall, the trees of the area change to a vibrant red and yellows unlike the oranges and browns of most other trees in the region. It has also been rumored to be the location of the Hawthorn Criminal Underworld, where illegal Pokemon battles and black-market selling of rare species of Pokemon is commonplace.

A beautiful coral reef located off the Northeast coast of Hawthorn, Lunar Reef has been a major attraction for sight-seers and Pokemon trainers alike due to the wide variety of tropical Water Pokemon that swim amongst the brightly colored reefs. Legends has it that the reefs themselves conceal the ruins of an ancient Pokemon temple devoted to the Moon Goddess Pokemon, Cresselia.

A small town in the center of Hawthorn, Auger Town is hidden in the foothills of an ever-constantly misty valley and the host to around 88 small shrines and temples dedicated to ancient Pokemon Gods. Many people who still believe in the old ways of Hawthorn flock to Auger to pay tribute to these shrines. Auger also is host to the 7th Gym of the region.

The place where dreams are made or shattered. With perfect weather year-round, Tropicalia is one of the most active cities of all of Hawthorn, and host to several, random events year-round. Other than being home to the entertainment and film industry of Hawthorn, Tropicalia is host to the highest tier for the Pokemon Contest Halls, and the final Gym in the region.

A small, sunny, peaceful island town, Solas Town is considered somewhat of a rest spot for trainers getting ready to face the challenge of the Tempest League. Though it may seem somewhat boring, Solas holds a rather interesting secret for those who ask around to the right people.

A network of caverns and valleys that all trainers must brave to reach Typhoon City and the heart of the Pokemon League.

The heart of the Pokemon League, Typhoon City is the home of the Elite 4, the four most skilled trainers in all of Hawthorn. The city is shielded by the surrounding mountains from the powerful storms that form near the coastline of the island. Whenever the Elite 4 are not in session, Typhoon City uses the facilities of the League to host the Pokemon Battle League; a series of special-condition Pokemon Battles between elite Trainers from across the world.
